What We Believe

Doctrinal Statement:

We Believe…

  • the Bible to be the fully inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God; that it is holy and our supreme authority.
  • there is one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • man/woman was created innocent and in the spiritual image of God; that he was tempted by Satan and made the choice to disobey God. From his disobedience, all people everywhere inherited the disease of sin and experience physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God.
  • all men/women face the judgment of God and need the hope that comes from a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross.
  • in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, performed many attesting miracles, took on Himself all our sins and died to pay the penalty for these sins.
  • that Christ rose again and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and our advocate. He will return one day in power and glory to raise the dead, glorify the church, judge the earth, and reign as King of Kings.
  • the new birth of the believer comes only through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit as He moves in man/woman to repent toward God and exercise faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • all who are born again by the Spirit are assured of their salvation from the very moment they place their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
  • in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; to inhabit and enable the believer to live holy, righteously, and godly lives and have concerns for the hurts and needs of others.
  • in using every means of communication available to us to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
