Preach the Word…do the work of an evangelist..fulfill your ministry

That is exactly what happened in Kenya over the past couple of weeks.  God provided many opportunities to share the love and the hope of Jesus with everyone from politicians and business professionals to street children, Masai warriors, and the sick and hurting.

Thank you so much for praying and for partnering with us to “preach the gospel” to so many.  Nothing ever went as planned, but God took every obstacle and turned it into and opportunity for people to hear and witness the Gospel.  We encountered many difficulties, both logistically and spiritually, but PRAISE GOD, His Word was PREACHED and lives were forever changed!!

During the week, we set up a mobile stage in four different poor parts of Nairobi and the worship band played and sang and then the Gospel would be shared.  Afterwards, our whole team, working through translators, would pray and minister to those that trusted Christ or desired prayer.  On Friday, we had a pastor’s conference where we shared discipleship and leadership principles with over 150 pastors.  On Saturday, we had our park outreach where many Kenyan singers and our worship team sang songs of Praise and Ryan Hurley (Vancouver, WA), Stan Myers(Salem, Oregon) and I preached. Also, on the following Friday, I had the opportunity to share with over 1600 politicians, laywers, and judges at the city hall in downtown Nairobi.  I’ve attached a couple of photos for you to look at and remind you to pray for the people of Kenya.  Please pray for those who responded to the Gospel and for those that still haven’t heard.

…and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.    Acts 1:8
